Sam Pratt is a writer, designer, consultant and activist.
He has published his own zine, Ersatz Culture, which was featured in The New York Times Magazine; written for over two dozen national print and web publications (Esquire, SPIN, Print, I.D., AIGA Journal, Epicurious, Suck, TimeOutNY, New York Magazine, et al.); and led several successful against-the-odds grassroots battles—most notably the nearly seven-year fight against the massive, coal-fired St. Lawrence Cement proposal in Columbia County.
He lives in Taghkanic (NY) and has an office in the nearby City of Hudson.
