TiVo, Get Me a Hanky

The "accidental" exposure of Janet Jackson's breast during the Super Bowl's halftime show is the most-TiVo'd moment in the relatively brief history of the company.

MTV is playing dumb, the cable nets are replaying the story every 5 minutes, bloggers are having a field day, neo-Puritans are crying foul, the NFL-FCC are crying wolf, and Janet (whose new album was advertised immediately after the incident) is crying all the way to the bank -- and CBS's excuses for not showing MoveOn and PETA's ads look even flimsier than Ms. Jackson's bodice.
